Place the muslin along the back of the backrest of the cart (if you put it on as a sofa). Let the fabric hang 2 inches below the top of the feet. Place the chaise sectional slipcover along the front of the backrest, making it two inches below the top of the seat. Pin the two pieces of fabric, leaving a half inch seam allowance.

Fabric should drape over the back and side edge in the same amount. Fabric should be trimmed to extend 2 inches up the backrests and secured with the other pieces, allowing for 1/2 inch seams.
